My band’s keyboardist uses Korg M50 and Roland Juno keyboards, can the EWI tap into the sounds of each of these keyboards and allow both of us to play at the same time? Yes, but I also know that some of these guys run two laptops, just in case It would be the smart thing to do, anyway.

You can read lots about the EWI on the Patchman site, it is a great bit of kit but I just don’t have patchman soundbank time to use it as well as practice my sax!

Also, even if you only use it for this, there’s still an operating system that needs care and feeding– every windows auto update is sort of a crap shoot. I’m a software developer so I know too much about how software works to have much faith in it. You want it for parts, pay for shipping and it’s yours. Every piece of gear has strengths and weaknesses. I personally feel that they sound too “synthy” and can’t think of any use for them.
